Join us for a one-of-a-kind summer experience! The Rising Stars Camp is an inspiring week of creativity, movement, and self-discovery. Campers will explore visual arts, performance, writing, yoga, and more!
We care about your keiki!
At Rising Stars Camp, we will foster your child's self-expression through art and collaboration. Our hands-on approach ensures that each child who attends our camp feels seen, heard, and empowered!
Photography
Your child will learn basic photography skills, from our professional photographer, that will include techniques on lighting, angles, framing, and more!
Music
Our professional singer will instruct your keiki on proper singing techniques, while giving them the stage to showcase their newfound abilities (or fine-tune what they already know)!
Tennis
Our professional tennis coach will guide your keiki through a fun-filled tennis lesson, giving them a chance to acquire proper athletic skills!
Dance
Our professional dance instructor will create and teach a fun dance to the group, offering your child a perfect opportunity for self-expression while letting loose and having fun!
Yoga + Journaling
We will guide your keiki through a centering yoga session that will leave them feeling at peace and ready to enjoy the week's activities! They will also get to start and keep their very own journal, perfect for helping them process their thoughts and feelings.
Crafts
Our crafting session is the perfect time for your child to fully express themselves with art they can take home and cherish!
Acting
Your child will take part in improv acting exercises that encourage creativity and imagination! We will also create and teach fun skits for your children to showcase on the last day of camp.
Public Speaking
Our public speaking coach will help camp goers gain more confidence by teaching them invaluable public speaking skills. These skills will make them better able to navigate social settings, in all aspects of their lives, for years to come!
Picnics
Each day will include an outdoor picnic setup for your children to enjoy!
Outdoor Play
No summer camp is complete without classic outdoor activities! We'll have some of the very games and activities you enjoyed as a child such as hula hoops, skip its, hopscotch, and more, during our outdoor playtime portions of the camp.
Beach Swim
We will take advantage of the beautifully protected lagoon, at Magic Island, and give the kids a chance to safely splash around while getting some sun!
Roberta Russo
Tennis Pro & Public Speaking Coach
Roberta Russo, originally from Naples, Italy, is a former professional tennis player who transformed her competitive experience into a thriving coaching career. With a deep passion for both athletic performance and personal growth, Roberta specializes in combining court skills with the psychology of confidence, leadership, and communication.
Now based in Hawaii, Roberta coaches at prestigious institutions such as Punahou School, the Pacific Club, and the Four Seasons Resort in Ko Olina. Roberta is also one of the founders of the school Hoku Rising, an institute that teaches young adults skills like photography, marketing, modeling, acting, creating brands. She works with a diverse range of students—from energetic Kindergarteners to high school athletes and motivated adults—guiding each one to discover their unique strengths.
Beyond tennis, Roberta is also a dedicated public speaking and leadership coach. She empowers her students to find their voice, develop presence, and build resilience, both on and off the court.
Roberta is excited to lead this year’s camp alongside instructor Lola, bringing her high-energy approach and heartfelt teaching style to inspire confidence, creativity, and connection.

Lola Oliver
Singer/Songwriter, Dancer, Model, Photographer, & Event Host
Lola is a dynamic multidisciplinary artist and creative entrepreneur with over three decades of experience spanning music, visual arts, dance, and performance. A professional singer-songwriter, she has released two EPs and graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, San Marcos, earning a Bachelor's degree in Visual and Performing Arts with a concentration in Music and a minor in Women's Studies. She also performed as a Solo R&B artist in the Soul Movement Tour in San Diego, and has worked with various music artists, bands, and producers as a studio recording artist and cover band singer.
Her artistic journey encompasses photography, performing on various dance teams and in several musicals, teaching country line-dancing, background acting, and modeling. Since 2013, Lola has operated a portrait photography business, capturing the essence of her subjects through her lens. Additionally, she brings people together by hosting picnics and events on Oahu through her event company, creating memorable experiences that celebrate community and creativity.
Lola's holistic approach to creativity encourages young artists to explore their voices and imaginations through music, movement, and visual arts. She is thrilled to co-direct this summer camp alongside Roberta Russo, a Tennis and Public Speaking coach, combining their shared commitment to youth empowerment through the arts, athletics, and communication.
